Vincent van Gogh's work has been shown and appreciated around the world for over 100 years - but never like this. Created and produced by Grande Experiences, Van Gogh Alive is an immersive art experience with vivid graphics and music that stimulates all the senses, and where the paintings come to life through large-scale projections with vivid details. In the experience, the visitor enters Van Gogh's world of images, filled with light, color and sound.

The experience is aimed at a broad target group, both adults and children. While it has been appreciated by art lovers, thanks to its multi-sensory experience, it has also been well received by visitors who do not usually visit art institutions.

Van Gogh Alive has been experienced by millions of visitors around the world, and this fall/winter visitors from Malmö will get the experience.

- After mesmerising a global audience of over 8.5 million people and selling-out cities all over the world, including London, Rome and Sydney we’re incredibly excited to be bringing Van Gogh Alive to the City of Malmö during fall/winter 2023/2024. This is an unforgettable cultural experience for all the family to enjoy, says Bruce Peterson, Owner of Grand Experiences.

The exhibition offers the visitor an experience that activates all senses. Detailed images flow through the mass of projectors and merge with digital surround sound and scents that evoke the feeling of the French countryside.

- We are happy to finally present the exhibition in MAlmö, says Stefan Papangelis, CEO of Nordic Exhibitions & Events, which is the Swedish organizer. Malmö has a good geographical location, a large catchment area and a capacity to welcome many visitors, which makes the exhibition accessible to many.
